Dataset
The dataset
4,429 models, 8 categories, one federal public-domain source.
The full dataset behind WattWise Labs: 4,429 ENERGY STAR certified appliance models across 8 categories, each with a real published annual energy figure and our computed running cost.
ENERGY STAR data as of July 2026. Download the dataset (CSV), every model with its category, brand, model, annual kWh, annual cost, in-class rank, class size, efficiency percentile and percent less energy than the US federal standard.

Source and license
Every figure originates from ENERGY STAR Product Finder (data.energystar.gov), United States federal government public-domain data, retrieved 2026-07-03. ENERGY STAR is a program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy; WattWise Labs is an independent publication and is not affiliated with or endorsed by either agency.
What we compute
From each model's published annual kWh, we compute an estimated annual running cost at $0.1856/kWh, an in-class running-cost rank, and a size-adjusted efficiency percentile. The full formula is on how we score. Where ENERGY STAR publishes a "percent less energy than the US federal standard" figure directly, we show it unchanged.
